Here are some answers to your burning questions!

Q: HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOU FIT INTO THE SAUNA?

A: 6 seated + 1 standing will easily fit in! People will spend around 15 minutes in the sauna and then cool down, which allows more people to cycle through!

Q: WHERE CAN YOU PUT THE SAUNA?

A: We can bring it anywhere we can fit a truck (pending conditions). Lake front, driveway, event, you name it! The trailer dimensions are 16’ x 8’x 11’, so as long as it’s 8’ wide, and there are no branches below 11’ we can fit it in there!

Q: HOW IS THE SAUNA CLEANED?

A: The sauna is cleaned out between each use, with all touch points washed, and floor cleaned off. While we do our best, wood and snow are always messy! The sauna will be clean upon arrival, but will immediately have wood chips and snow on the ground after getting set up.

Q: WHAT DO YOU DO IN A SAUNA?

A: Relax. Drink Water. Socialize or meditate!

Q: WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

A:  We require 50% non refundable deposit up front to make a reservation and bill the final amount the day of the booking. Cancellation within 7 days of the reservation loses the deposit.

Q: WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?

Delivery is included with rental within 15 miles of 24078 Greenway Road, Forest Lake MN 55025, but will deliver further for additional cost of $4/mile after 15 miles.

Q: What is included in a sauna rental?

  • Delivery/pickup and a demo of how to use the sauna

  • Enough wood for your rental time frame

  • A bucket, ladle, and essential oils to create some good smelling, sinus clearing steam!

Q: Are there any precautions I should take?

  • Avoid alcohol and medications that may impair sweating and produce overheating before and after your sauna.

  • Stay in no more than 15–20 minutes.

  • Cool down gradually afterward.

  • Drink two to four glasses of cool water after each sauna.

  • Don't take a sauna when you are ill, and if you feel unwell during your sauna, head for the door.

Q: DO SAUNAS HAVE HEALTH BENEFITS?

A: A saunas' dry heat (which can get as high as 185° F) has profound effects on the body. Skin temperature soars to about 104° F within minutes. The average person will pour out a pint of sweat during a short stint in a sauna. The pulse rate jumps by 30% or more, allowing the heart to nearly double the amount of blood it pumps each minute. Most of the extra blood flow is directed to the skin; in fact, the circulation actually shunts blood away from the internal organs. Blood pressure is unpredictable, rising in some people but falling in others.

Saunas appear safe for most people. However, people with uncontrolled high blood pressure and heart disease should check with their doctors before taking a sauna.
